Friday night the Spiders travel to Marvin Ridge to face the first year Mavericks.

Marvin Ridge is coached by former A.L. Brown coach Bruce Hardin. They enter the contest 4-4 overall and 3-2 in SPC play. Last week they defeated Porter Ridge 33-6.

Last week Concord defeated first place Anson to create a 4 way tie at the top of the SPC with Anson, Concord, Kannapolis, and Sun Valley. Concord's defense created six turnovers including five interceptions. 

Kickoff is 7:30PM at Marvin Ridge.
