In a move many expected Glen Padgett has been named Head Football Coach at Concord High School. Coach Padgett served as an assistant coach at Concord for several years before head coaching stints at Salisbury, Northwest Cabarrus, and North Mecklenburg. At North Mecklenburg Padgett led the Vikings to the playoffs for seven straight seasons while winning two conference championships. Padgett replaces E.Z.
