Concord and Kannapolis will renew North Carolina's longest continuous running football rivalry Friday night at Memorial Stadium in Kannapolis.

Concord has won 4 games in a row after starting 0-6. Freshman quarterback B.J. Beecher passed for 339 yards and 4 touchdowns in last week's 33-20 victory over Hickory Ridge. Since taking over as starter Beecher has thrown for
more than 900 yards and completed 7 touchdown passes. Concord's Head Coach is Glen Padgett.

Kannapolis has won 8 straight games since an early season loss to South Rowan. Tailback Travis Riley leads the Wonders rushing attack with over 1600 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns through 10 games. The Wonder's Head Coach is Ron Massey.

Concord is presaling tickets. Hours are 10AM-2PM Thursday and 9AM-1PM on Friday at the school office.

Friday's installment is the 79th meeting in the storied series between the schools. Kickoff is 7:30PM at Memorial Stadium on the campus of A.L. Brown.
