Concord travels to face #1 seed Hibriten Friday night.

Concord looks to continue their 6 game winning streak. The Spiders finished in a 2nd place tie in the South Piedmont Conference after an 0-6 start.

Senior quarterback Jordan Havinga came on in relief and led the Spiders offense in last week's first round victory over county rival Northwest Cabarrus. Tailback Dominique Posey rushed for over 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Spider defense held Northwest to 20 points and around 200 yards of offense. The Spiders are 6-6 overall.

Hibriten is 12-0 out of the Northwestern 3A/4A. The Panthers rely on a power running game fueled by a senior dominated offensive line and a group of talented backs. Leo Guevara leads the group with over 1000 yards rushing and more than 20 touchdowns. Linebacker Darius Lipford, a Duke commit, leads the Panther defense. The Panthers Head Coach is Chuck Cannon.

Kickoff is 7:30 at Jeff Storie Memorial Stadium in Lenoir.
