concord helmet2 Concord travels to Mt. Ulla for a 3rd round contest vs. West Rowan. The teams also met in the 3rd round of the playoffs last season.

West Rowan enters the game with an 11-2 record. Last week the Falcons scored with less than a minute to play to beat Statesville. West has won 9 games since a 23-9 defeat at the hands of South Pointe(SC). The Falcons are the three time defending state 3A Champions. Scott Young is West Rowan's Head Coach.

Concord enters the game with a 10-3 record. Last week the Spiders beat Rockingham County 30-8.
