Coach E.Z. Smith and his Concord Spiders host Kannapolis Friday in the 76th annual Battle for the Bell. The game is the longest running continuous high school football rivalry in North Carolina and one of the longest in the nation.

Concord enters the game on a 4 game winning streak including last week's 30-19 victory over Parkwood. Kannapolis enters the game with a 7-1 record with their lone loss coming to SPC foe Sun Valley. Last week the Wonders defeated Porter Ridge 44-22.

Kickoff is 7:30PM at Robert C. Bailey Stadium. Arrive early as a massive crowd is expected and Cabarrus County Schools scans for weapons at the gates.
