The Spiders travel to Winston-Salem this Friday to face the Winston-Salem Carver Yellow Jackets in the State 3A semi-finals.

The Yellow Jackets enter the contest 13-1. Their only loss came the first week of the season against Greensboro Dudley. Last week they defeated North Gaston 22-21. They are the Piedmont Triad Conference Champs and the #2 seed in the Western 3A regional. The Yellow Jackets are coached by Keith Wilkes.

Concord enters the game on an 11 game winning streak. The Spiders advanced by beating Anson 34-3 last week.
